This week the Star Tribune highlighted Maple Grove’s efforts to complete the 610 expansion project. Maple Grove City Administrator Heidi Nelson was interviewed for the article, and she emphasized both the significant growth in the area that makes the project so important, as well as the urgency in securing theremaining funding for the project now.The remaining funding for the project could be made available through a pending bonding request at the state legislature or a Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant, which Maple Grove will be applying for. Tomorrow the city will hold three live online open houses at 4:00, 5:00, and 6:30 to show preliminary designs for the project.
