Yesterday was the groundbreaking ceremony for the final phase of the Highway 610 extension project. Supporters, small business owners, local elected officials, and Minnesota leaders joined together to celebrate the advancement of this important infrastructure project in Maple Grove.
Governor Walz, and Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith were on hand to lend their support and applaud the recent round of funding that makes the 6th – and final phase – of this project possible.
Increased access and economic development opportunities, improved safety and decreased congestion are among the many of the benefits that the Northwest suburbs and those traveling in the area will receive from this extension project.
