Yesterday the Minnesota State Senate Transportation Finance and Policy Committee held a hearing on road projects included in the Omnibus Transportation Supplemental Funding and Policy Bill. The hearing included testimony about the benefits of the I-94 Gap Project and 610 Interchange Completion Project.
Senator Mary Kiffmeyer introduced I-94 West Corridor Coalition Chairman Steve Bot, who spoke about the need for the I-94 Gap Project, which will bring 4 to 6 lanes capacity expansion between Albertville and Monticello (Begins at the 1:24:50 mark)
Senator Warren Limmer introduced Maple Grove Mayor Mark Steffenson, who spoke about the Highway 610 Interchange Completion Project, which will bring a vital connection and increased safety to the Northwest suburbs (Begins at the 18:29 mark).
